PET CREMATION URN SIZES AND CAPACITIES

When calculating the size urn that you'll need for your pet's ashes, consider that one pound of body weight equals one cubic inch of volume. For example, the ashes of a forty-pound (40 lb) dog will require an urn with at least 40 cubic inches of volume capacity for the cremains. If you have concerns about whether our urns have enough capacity, prior to purchasing we recommend you ask your veterinarian to help you estimate the size urn you will need.

Our partial keepsake urn is approximately 50% smaller than our full-sized keepsake cremation urn. It is best suited to hold the ashes of smaller pets.
